Machined Castings

Exports of castings from India have been growing at very rapid rates during the last few years. The Group feels that there is a great potential for export of fully machined castings; there is also greater value-addition as compared to raw castings.

The Group's machine shop has access to raw materials testing facilities which include full fledge inhouse Chemical and Mechanical testing laboratories.Other test facilities available with the Group includes Non Destructive Testing (NDT) such as Dye Penetration, Magnetic Particle, Radiography, and Ultrasonic Testing. Surface finishing processes available include Hot-dip galvanising, Hard chromium plating, Powder coating, Epoxy coating/painting, etc.

Heat treatment processes like Stress relieving, Annealing, Normalising, Hardening, etc., are done as per requirement.Localised heat treatment is also done for large jobs.

The Group exports fully machined castings to quite a few countries in Europe and Africa.
