Saturn Ball Valves are compact, easy-to-maintain,
require no lubrication, and give tight sealing with low torque. Ball
valves, due to the very nature of metal to metal seating, are generally
used only for on-off operations. Saturn "V" port Ball Valves
that use one or more of the many engineering plastics available today
can be used for throttling, too.
Saturn Ball Valves are available in reduced and full port patterns
and in the top entry and split body (end entry) types. The main body
of the Ball Valve is available in one piece, two piece and three piece
configurations; in standard and sandwich patterns in the last named.
The fire proof design incorporates both elastomer and metal-to-metal
technologies. Multiport configurations too can be manufactured to
cater to individual requirements. Ball valves can also be used as
flush bottom tank valves. All-plastic designs are also available.
Both seats and ball are replaceable.
Saturn Ball Valves conform to BS 5351 for fire safe designs and BS
5159 for conventional designs. Saturn Ball Valves are tested in accordance
with BS 5146 or API 596 or other equivalent standards. Valves as per
DIN 3357 can also be supplied. Special designs like trunnion mounting,
‘V’ port, self compensating rings, etc., can be manufactured to suit
individual requirements. |
