Multiport valves are generally
used to simplify piping. In addition, they also eliminate pipe fittings
and provide a much more convenient operation than multiple valves.
Multiport valves are particularly advantageous on transfer lines and
for diverting services. A single multiport valve can be installed
in lieu of three or four individual valves. The only thing to remember
in such an installation is that many of the multiport configurations
do not permit complete shut-off of flow; one flow path usually remains
open.
Saturn designs and manufactures Multiport Valves that can replace
multiple ball, gate, globe, or pinch valves. These valves are manufactured
keeping in mind the relevant standards and the specific needs of the
customer. Flow to more than one port is also possible, as is complete
shut-off. In case of the requirement being very specific, a suitable
multiport valve to handle that specific need can be designed and/or
